Hi, I'm Junia Ryan.
I am an Art Director/Designer who is passionate about storytelling and authentically connecting brands with consumers. I believe that great design comes from both creative and strategic thinking throughout the entire design process. Whether the medium is web/digital, print, video or experiential, you always need both to tell a true, genuine message and bring the brand story to life in a meaningful way. I am currently a Senior Art Director at American Express. Throughout my six years of experience, I have lead conceptualization, design, and creative production of campaigns and activations across OLV, social, web/digital, and experiential. I have been a key contributor to multiple award-winning campaigns, successful new business pitches, as well as co-leading many multi-day photoshoots and productions.
I am a proud graduate of Syracuse University with a B.F.A. in Communications Design. #GoOrange. Fun fact, before switching my major to Communications Design, I completed 2 years as an Architecture student; knowledge that I have leaned on often in my career.
When not behind the screen, you can usually find me singing my favorite R&B or Soca songs, planning my dream vacations around the world, or watching a football game.
